EDD PFL E324 Error: Help with Claimant Registration Issue
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my Paid Family Leave claimant registration. Every time I try to register, I keep getting this E324 error message. It's driving me crazy! Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on how to fix it or what I should say when I finally get through to someone on the phone?

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I'll try clearing my cache first and if that doesn't work, I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and try to get through on the phone. Wish me luck! 🍀

Here's what worked for me: I found this site called claimyr.com that has a calling tool. It dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it saved me hours of frustration. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•$20? That's steep. Why should we have to pay to access a government service?

•I get the skepticism, but it really did work for me. Saved me hours of hold time. Worth every penny imho.

•Claimyr seems helpful, but it's true that it's a shame we need to resort to paid solutions for public services.

I swear, the EDD system is held together with duct tape and prayers. It's ridiculous that we have to jump through so many hoops just to get the benefits we're entitled to. Hang in there, OP!

PSA: If you're getting the E324 error, it could also mean there's a problem with your identity verification. Make sure all your docs are up to date and the info matches EXACTLY what's in their system. Even a small typo can cause issues.

•Oh man, I didn't even think about that. I'll double-check everything. Thanks for the tip!

•This! I had to update my address with the DMV before EDD would accept my application. What a headache 🤕

•Verifying identity details is crucial, even minor discrepancies can lead to bigger issues.

Unpopular opinion: despite all its flaws, we're lucky to have a system like this at all. Many countries don't even offer paid family leave. 🤷♀️

•True, but that doesn't mean we can't criticize it and push for improvements!

Hot take: the whole system is designed to be confusing on purpose so fewer people get benefits. Stay woke, y'all 👀

Anyone else feel like we need a support group for dealing with EDD stress? 😅 This stuff is no joke!

Okay, here's my comprehensive guide to dealing with EDD errors based on my hellish experience: 1. Double-check all your info: Make sure everything matches your official documents EXACTLY. 2. Try different browsers: Sometimes Chrome works better than Firefox, or vice versa. 3. Use incognito mode: This can help if it's a cache/cookie issue. 4. Apply during off-peak hours: Late night or early morning is best. 5. If all else fails, you gotta call: - Have all your docs ready - Be polite but persistent - Take notes during the call - Get the agent's name and ID number if possible Remember, you're entitled to these benefits. Don't give up! 💪

Ugh, I feel your pain. I had the same issue last month. The E324 error usually means there's some kind of mismatch in your information. When you finally get through to an agent, make sure you have all your personal details ready - SSN, address, employment history, the works. Good luck!

Pro tip: if you do end up calling, try to get through first thing in the morning when they open. The wait times are usually shorter then.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that helps with weird errors like this. If that doesn't work, you might need to call and speak to someone directly. Be prepared for a loooong wait time tho 😩

I heard they're updating the EDD system soon. Maybe wait a few days and try again? Might solve the problem without the headache of calling.

If you're still having trouble, consider using Claimyr to save time and stress when reaching EDD. While it's a paid service, many users find it worthwhile for avoiding long hold times. However, it's important to weigh the cost against potential frustrations and explore free options first. Always keep your personal details updated and check your information thoroughly before calling.

Does anyone know if there's a way to check the status of your application online? Or do we just have to keep trying until it works? 🤔

•Lol, "check the status". Good one. EDD and transparency don't mix 😂

•I think you can check on the EDD website, but it's about as useful as a chocolate teapot

Have you tried applying at different times of the day? Sometimes the system gets overloaded during peak hours. I had better luck submitting my application late at night.

Has anyone tried contacting their local representative about these ongoing EDD issues? Maybe if enough of us complain, they'll actually do something to fix the system.

I've been lurking here for a while dealing with my own EDD nightmare, and this thread is so relatable it hurts! 😭 The E324 error is the bane of my existence right now. I've tried everything - different browsers, clearing cache, incognito mode, you name it. What finally worked for me (temporarily) was using a different device entirely. Apparently my laptop was somehow "flagged" in their system? Makes no sense but that's EDD for you. Also, pro tip: screenshot EVERYTHING during your application process. Trust me on this one. The number of times I've had to prove I submitted something correctly... Good luck OP, we're all suffering together! 💪

•Wow, your laptop being "flagged" is such a bizarre EDD thing! 🤦♀️ I never would have thought to try a different device. The screenshot tip is gold too - I learned that lesson the hard way when they claimed I never submitted certain documents. It's crazy that we have to treat applying for benefits like we're gathering evidence for court! Thanks for sharing your experience, it's oddly comforting to know we're all in this together.

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! The E324 error is so frustrating. I've been trying for three days straight and getting nowhere. Reading through all these comments is actually really helpful - I didn't know about trying different devices or the identity verification issues. I'm definitely going to try clearing my cache and using incognito mode first. If that doesn't work, I guess I'll have to brave the phone lines. It's ridiculous that we have to jump through so many hoops just to access benefits we've paid into. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences and tips! 🙏

•I'm so sorry you're going through this too! The E324 error really is the worst. I just joined this community after dealing with my own EDD headaches for weeks. One thing that helped me was double-checking that my browser wasn't auto-filling any forms with outdated info - sometimes those saved addresses or old phone numbers can trigger errors. Also, if you do end up calling, I found it helpful to have a notepad ready to write down everything they tell you, including case numbers or reference numbers they might give you. The whole system is so broken, but at least we have each other for support! Keep us posted on how it goes! 💪
