E324 Error on EDD Website - Can't File Temp Disability Claim Online

I'm trying to file for temporary disability online but the website keeps giving me an E324 error message. I've double-checked all my info and it's correct, but I still can't access the site to file my claim. I was on hold for hours trying to reach someone! Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on how to get through or fix this error?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I had the same issue last month. It's so frustrating when the system doesn't work and you can't even get started with your claim. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that helps with weird website errors.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give that a try. Did it end up working for you?

It actually did work for me! But I've heard others say it didn't help them. Worth a shot tho. Fingers crossed for you! šŸ¤ž

E324 error is the worst! I've been dealing with it for weeks. From what I've gathered, it's some kind of account verification issue. Have you tried logging out, waiting 24 hours, and then logging back in? That worked for a friend of mine.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

I was skeptical at first too, but it really worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

20 bucks to skip the hold time? Sign me up! šŸ’Æ

idk man, seems kinda sketchy. why should we have to pay to access a government service?

I get where you're coming from, but for me, time is money. I'd rather pay $20 than waste a whole day on hold. To each their own tho!

Here's what I've learned about the E324 error after dealing with it for months: • It's often caused by a mismatch between your personal info and what's in their system • Double-check your SSN, DOB, and address - even a small typo can cause issues • Try using a different browser or device • If possible, use a desktop computer instead of a mobile device • Sometimes the error occurs during high-traffic times, so try early morning or late night • If all else fails, you might need to file by phone or mail (I know, it sucks) Hope this helps someone! We're all in the same boat with this broken system. 🚢

I swear the EDD website was designed by monkeys. How hard is it to make a functioning system? We're in 2023 for crying out loud! šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Hey now, don't insult monkeys like that! šŸ’

For real tho. My cousin works in tech and says the government systems are running on some ancient stuff. No wonder it's always breaking down.

Protip: If you can't get through online, try faxing your application. Yes, I know it's 2023, but sometimes old school methods work when technology fails. Here's the fax number: [REDACTED]. Good luck!

Wait, faxing still exists? 😳 Mind blown.

Anyone else feel like they're playing a game of chance every time they try to file a claim? It's like EDD roulette - will it work today or nah? šŸŽ°

I've heard rumors that they're updating the system soon. Supposedly it'll fix a lot of these errors. But knowing how government projects go, we'll probably all be retired by the time it's done lol

I had the exact same E324 error last week! What finally worked for me was using a completely different device (borrowed my neighbor's laptop) and making sure I was on a stable internet connection. Also, I noticed the error happened less frequently when I tried during off-peak hours like early morning around 6-7 AM. The system seems to be less glitchy then. It's ridiculous that we have to jump through all these hoops just to file a legitimate claim, but sometimes you gotta work with what you've got. Hang in there! šŸ’Ŗ
