EDD E324 Error: Can't File Claim, System Won't Process Request
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble filing my unemployment claim. Every time I try, I get this E324 error saying the system can't process my request and I need to contact EDD. I've tried multiple times and keep hitting this wall. Anyone else run into this? Any ideas on how to get past it?

Ugh, I've been dealing with the same issue for weeks now! It's so frustrating. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that helps with weird system errors.

•Yeah, I've tried that already. Even used different browsers and devices. No luck 😞

•Same boat here. Cleared everything, still no dice. EDD's website is a joke 🤡

I had this problem last month. turns out it was because my social security number was flagged in there system for some reason. You might need to call them directly to sort it out.

•Thanks for the tip. Did you manage to get through on the phone? I've been trying but it's always busy

•It took forever, but I finally got through after calling non-stop for like 3 days straight. Just keep at it!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Here's what worked for me: 1. Try filing your claim during off-peak hours (like super early in the morning or late at night) 2. Double-check all your info is correct, even a small typo can trigger errors 3. If you're using autofill, turn it off and manually enter everything 4. Make sure your address matches exactly what's on file with the DMV 5. If all else fails, you might need to mail in a paper application (yeah, I know, it's 2023 🙄) Hope this helps! The EDD system is a nightmare, but don't give up!

I swear the EDD intentionally makes this difficult so people just give up. It's a disgrace how they treat us when we're already struggling. 😡

•Tin foil hat time: what if it's designed to be frustrating so fewer people claim benefits? 🤔

I ran into this exact same E324 error last year! What finally worked for me was logging out completely, waiting about 30 minutes, then logging back in with a fresh session. Also make sure you're not using any VPN or proxy - EDD's system gets really picky about that stuff. If you're still stuck, try accessing the site from a different IP address (like using your phone's hotspot instead of home wifi). The system seems to have some weird IP-blocking issues that cause these random errors. Hope this helps!

•Oh wow, the IP address thing makes so much sense! I've been trying from the same home wifi this whole time. Definitely going to try switching to my phone's hotspot - never would have thought of that. Thanks for the tip about waiting 30 minutes too, I've been trying back-to-back attempts which probably isn't helping. Fingers crossed this works! 🤞

•This is really helpful! I've been banging my head against the wall with this E324 error for days. Never thought about the IP blocking thing - that could totally explain why it works sometimes and not others. Going to try the phone hotspot trick right now. @Luca Russo you should definitely give this a shot too since you re'the original poster dealing with this nightmare!
