E324 Error During EDD Claimant Registration - Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my claimant registration. It keeps showing me an E324 error. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas on how to fix it? I've been trying to register for days now and it's driving me crazy!

Ugh, I had the same issue last week! It's so frustrating. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? That worked for me after like the 10th attempt šŸ™„

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot. Did you have to re-enter all your info after clearing the cache?

Yep, unfortunately. It's a pain, but better than being stuck on that error screen forever. Good luck!

I tried that too but it didnt work for me. Any other ideas?

E324 error? Never seen that one before. Have you tried calling their support line? Sometimes they can push through the registration on their end.

I've been trying to call for days, but I can never get through. It's like their phone lines are always busy 😫

Pro tip: I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Wait, seriously? $20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

I know it sounds crazy, but after spending hours trying to get through, it was worth it for me. Saved me a ton of time and stress.

Is that even legal? Seems sketchy to charge for access to a government service...

It's not charging for the service itself, just for the convenience of not having to wait on hold. The actual call with EDD is free once you're connected.

Here's what I know about the E324 error: • It usually occurs when there's a mismatch between the information you're entering and what's in their system • Double-check all your personal info (SSN, DOB, address) to make sure it's 100% accurate • Try registering at off-peak hours (like early morning or late night) • If you've moved recently, make sure your address is up to date with the DMV • Sometimes it's a temporary glitch in their system - try again after 24 hours If none of that works, you might need to verify your identity in person at an EDD office. It's a hassle, but it can resolve a lot of online registration issues.

E324? More like E-nough already! 🤣 But seriously, this system is a joke. I've been trying to register for weeks now. Good luck, OP!

Conspiracy theory: the harder it is to register, the less they have to pay out šŸ‘€

Hey, just wondering if you got this sorted out? I'm having the same issue and could use some advice if you found a solution!

Still working on it, but I'll update here if I figure it out. We're all in the same boat šŸ˜…

I ran into the E324 error a few months ago and it was a nightmare! What finally worked for me was making sure my address EXACTLY matched what was on file with Social Security Administration, not just the DMV. Even things like "Street" vs "St" or apartment formatting can cause this error. Also, try using Internet Explorer or Edge if you're on Chrome/Firefox - their old system seems to work better with older browsers sometimes. The whole process is frustrating but don't give up!

This is super helpful! I never would have thought about the exact address formatting being so important. I'm dealing with the same E324 error right now and I bet that's my issue - I probably put "Ave" instead of "Avenue" or something like that. Going to double-check everything against my SSA records. Thanks for sharing your experience! šŸ™

Oh wow, the address formatting thing makes so much sense! I've been having this same E324 error and I bet that's exactly what's happening. I moved last year and probably have slight differences between what I told DMV vs SSA. Question though - how do you check what address format SSA has on file? Do you have to call them or is there an online way to verify? Also curious about the browser thing - did IE/Edge actually make a difference for the registration process specifically?
