PFL Claim: Can't Add Phone Number to Application - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my Paid Family Leave claim. I tried to add my phone number to the application but it's not working. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to get it sorted out?

Ugh, the PFL system is such a pain! I had the same issue last month. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that helps with weird glitches on the website.

•Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give that a try and see if it helps. Fingers crossed 🤞

•I second this! Clearing cache worked for me too. The EDD website is so finicky sometimes 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

•Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Have you tried using a different browser? Sometimes the EDD site acts up on certain browsers. I had better luck with Firefox than Chrome.

Oof, been there done that. The PFL system is a nightmare. Here's what worked for me: 1. Log out completely 2. Clear browser cache and cookies 3. Restart your computer (I know, classic IT move but it helps) 4. Try logging in again using incognito/private browsing mode 5. If all else fails, try calling their tech support line Hope this helps! Let us know if you get it sorted.

Have you tried contacting your local assemblymember's office? They can sometimes help push things through or get you in touch with the right person at EDD.
