PFL payment delayed & can't update contact info - help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my paid family leave payment. It's been a while and I still haven't received anything. I tried updating my contact info but the system won't let me log out to make changes. Anyone else dealing with this? Any advice on how to speed things up or get through to someone who can help?

Ugh, I feel your pain! The PFL system is such a mess rn. Have you tried calling their hotline? I spent hours on hold last week and still couldn't get through š

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

ā¢It did for me! Got through in about 2 hours instead of waiting days. Worth every penny imo

ā¢Why should we have to pay to talk to someone about our benefits? The system is so broken š¤¦āāļø

ā¢I get it, but tbh I'd rather pay $20 than waste days trying to get through. Time is money, ya know?

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes the notifications end up there. Also, make sure all your docs are uploaded correctly in the portal. They won't process anything if even one thing is missing.

I've been dealing with PFL issues for months now. Here's what I've learned: ⢠Double-check all your paperwork. Make sure everything is filled out correctly and completely. ⢠Keep calling, but try at off-peak hours like early morning or late evening. ⢠Use the online portal to send messages. Sometimes they respond faster there. ⢠If possible, get your employer involved. They can sometimes speed things up. ⢠Document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every interaction. ⢠If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes intervene on your behalf. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process, but persistence pays off!

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at them or messaging on Facebook can get a faster response. Worth a shot!

Quick question - did you receive any kind of confirmation when you first applied? Might help to know where in the process things got held up.
