FPL Account Locked - No Notice Received - Need Help ASAP!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my Family Paid Leave account. It's locked and I can't access it. Has anyone else dealt with this? I haven't received any notices or letters from them yet. This is my first time trying to reach out to them. Any advice on how to get this resolved quickly?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I had the same issue last month. Have you tried calling their customer service line? It's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get things sorted out.

I've been trying to call all morning, but I keep getting stuck on hold forever. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. You might have better luck getting through to someone.

Or try calling during lunch hour. Sometimes theres less traffic then.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes important notices end up there. Also, double-check that they have your correct mailing address on file.

I found a way to get someone on the phone fast. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

How long did it take for them to get someone on the line?

It took about 45 minutes, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They just called me when an agent was ready.

Have you tried reaching out to them on social media? Sometimes companies are more responsive there because it's public.

That's a good idea, I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Oof, locked accounts are the worst. 🔒😫 Make sure you have all your account info ready when you do get through to someone. They'll probably ask for a ton of verification stuff.

I had this happen to me last year. Turns out there was a glitch in their system that was locking people out randomly. Might be worth asking if that's happening again when you get through to them.

Classic government efficiency 🙄 Always blame it on a 'glitch' lol

For real tho, their systems are so outdated. They need a major overhaul.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Gather all your account info, including any past correspondence 2. Call first thing in the morning (like 5 minutes before they open) 3. If you can't get through, try the online chat feature on their website 4. Be persistent! Sometimes it takes a few tries 5. If all else fails, contact your local representative's office. They can sometimes intervene on your behalf. Good luck! The system is a mess, but don't give up. You'll get it sorted eventually.
