PFL claim stuck 'pending process' for 3 weeks - Does EDD need more info?
Hey everyone, I'm getting really frustrated with my PFL claim. It's been processing for 3 weeks now and still says 'pending process'. I'm worried that EDD might need more info from me to keep things moving. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on what I should do next?

I found a way to solve PFL claim processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orrLuORzux0

Ugh, I feel your pain! I was in the same boat last month. Have you tried calling them? It's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

•I've been trying to call for days but can't get through. It's so frustrating!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they post messages there asking for additional info without sending an email or letter.

•Yeah, I've been checking daily. No new messages or requests. It's like it's just sitting there doing nothing.

•Classic EDD move. They're probably swamped with claims and yours is just chillin in a digital pile somewhere 🤦♂️

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds sketchy. Is it legit?

•Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Here's what I've learned from my experience with PFL claims: 1. Be patient. 3 weeks is actually pretty standard processing time. 2. Double-check all your submitted documents. Make sure nothing's missing. 3. If you haven't already, submit any medical certification forms. 4. Keep an eye on your online account AND your mail. Sometimes they send physical letters. 5. If it goes beyond 4 weeks, then start trying to contact them aggressively. 6. Consider reaching out to your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes expedite claims. Hang in there! The system is slow, but it usually works out in the end.

Just wanted to say good luck OP! The waiting game sucks but hopefully you'll hear back soon.

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! My PFL claim has been stuck on "pending process" for about 2.5 weeks. It's so nerve-wracking not knowing what's happening. I've been checking my online account obsessively but there's literally no updates or messages asking for additional info. From what I'm reading here, it sounds like this is unfortunately pretty normal? Still doesn't make the waiting any easier though. Really hoping we both hear something soon! 🤞
