PFL claim not processed - What should I do?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my PFL claim. It hasn't been processed yet and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel ya. PFL claims can be such a pain. Have you received any notices or letters from EDD? Sometimes they send important info through snail mail.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account for any updates or messages 2. Make sure all your documents are uploaded correctly 3. Double-check that your employer has submitted their portion of the claim 4. If it's been more than 2 weeks since you filed, definitely give them a call 5. Be persistent! Sometimes you gotta call multiple times to get through Hang in there, the PFL system can be frustrating but don't give up!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! Filed my PFL claim 3 weeks ago and still nothing. The waiting is so stressful, especially when you really need that income. I tried calling a few times but keep getting disconnected after waiting on hold forever. Has anyone had luck getting through during specific times of day? Maybe early morning or late afternoon? Really hoping we both get some movement on our claims soon! 🤞
