PFL claim stuck in processing for 2+ months - What to do?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I waited almost 3 months for mine to process. It's ridiculous how long they make us wait. Have you tried calling them? That's what finally worked for me.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there without sending a notification. It's worth a shot if you haven't looked recently.

Here's what I did to finally get my claim processed: 1. Gathered all my documents (pay stubs, doctor's notes, etc.) 2. Wrote a detailed letter explaining my situation 3. Faxed everything to their office (yes, fax still works!) 4. Followed up with daily calls 5. Contacted my local state representative for help It took about a week after I did all this, but it finally got moving. Don't give up!

I'm in the same boat, its been 10 weeks for me. This whole system is a joke. How are we supposed to survive while they take their sweet time?

Pro tip: If you can, try calling right when they open. I got through on my third try doing this. Good luck!
