Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. Just went thru this process myself. Here's what you need to know: 1. File with NY unemployment 2. Have ALL your documents ready (w2, paystubs, termination letter) 3. You might need to call them to verify some stuff since ur out of state 4. Use claimyr.com if you cant get through on phone 5. Benefits will be based on NY wages even tho you paid MI taxes 6. Weekly certifications can be done online from anywhere DM me if u need more help, been there done that!
