EDD Payment Status Check - Tips for Getting Through?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to check on my EDD payment status. Anyone else having trouble getting through to them? I've been waiting for my payment for weeks now and I'm getting really frustrated. Any tips on how to get in touch with a real person?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to get through to EDD for days now. It's like they don't want us to actually talk to anyone š

ā¢Same here! I've been calling non-stop and always get the 'we're too busy' message. This is ridiculous!

ā¢Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

ā¢Yeah, I've tried that. No luck. It's like playing the lottery at this point š«

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

ā¢I get it, but for me it was worth it. I was losing my mind trying to get through on my own.

Has anyone tried contacting their local representative? I've heard some people have had success that way.

Pro tip: use the online portal to check your payment status. Sometimes it updates before you can actually get through to anyone on the phone.

Here's what I've learned after months of dealing with EDD: ⢠Best times to call are usually early morning (right when they open) or late afternoon ⢠Use the online portal to check status and submit any documents ⢠If you can't get through, try emailing. It's slow, but sometimes works ⢠Keep detailed records of all your attempts to contact them ⢠If all else fails, contact your local representative or the EDD ombudsman Hope this helps someone. Stay persistent, y'all. We're all in the same boat here.
