EDD Payment Status Check - Any Tips for Getting Through?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to check the status of my EDD payment but I'm not sure where to start. Has anyone had any luck getting through to them lately? I've been waiting for what feels like forever and I'm starting to get worried. Any tips or advice would be really appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to get through to EDD for weeks now. It's like they're purposely making it impossible to reach them. Have you tried checking your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before they actually send out the payment.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Have you checked for any recent notices from EDD? Sometimes they send important updates about payment status through snail mail or to your UI Online inbox. Don't forget to check your spam folder too!

Hey OP, what kind of payment are you waiting for? Regular UI, PUA, or something else? The process can be different depending on the type.

I'm in a similar boat - filed for disability benefits about 6 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything back. The uncertainty is killing me! I've tried calling the disability line but it's just as bad as the regular UI line. Has anyone had success with the disability claims specifically?
