EDD Payment Issues - Need Advice on Delays and Contacting EDD
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my EDD payment. Has anyone else experienced delays or problems recently? I'm getting worried because I really need this money to cover my bills. Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact?

Ugh, I feel you. I've been dealing with payment issues for weeks now. It's so frustrating! Have you tried calling them? That's what I did, but it took forever to get through.

•I've tried calling but keep getting stuck on hold for hours. It's driving me crazy! How long did it take you to finally reach someone?

•It took me like 3 days of constant redialing 😫 I swear I was about to lose my mind. But once I got through, they were actually pretty helpful.

•3 days?! That's insane. The system is so broken, it's ridiculous we have to go through this just to get what we're owed. 🤦♂️

I found a way to get someone on the phone quickly! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this? I'm skeptical about paying for something like this...

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me so much time and stress. Worth every penny imo. They even have a money-back guarantee if it doesn't work.

•Can you give more details about how it works? Do they just keep calling until they get through?

•Yeah, basically their system keeps dialing and navigating the phone tree until it detects a live agent. Then it calls you to connect. Saved me hours of frustration!

Have you checked your UI Online account? Sometimes there are messages or requests for additional info that can hold up payments. Worth double-checking!

I've been in the same boat. What worked for me was contacting my local assembly member's office. They have liaisons who can escalate EDD issues. Might be worth a shot!

•Oh wow, I didn't even know that was an option. How do I find out who my assembly member is?

•Just google 'find my california assembly member' and there should be a website where you can enter your address. Good luck!

Guys, I've been dealing with EDD payment issues for months now, and I've learned a few things that might help: • Always keep detailed records of your claims, payments, and any communication with EDD. • Double-check that all your information is up-to-date in your UI Online account. • If you're having trouble reaching someone by phone, try calling right when they open or just before closing time. • Use the AskEDD feature on their website to submit questions - sometimes you can get answers without calling. • If all else fails, contact your local assembly member or state senator's office for help. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up, and keep pushing until you get what you're owed. We're all in this together! 💪

•Great advice! I'd add that joining Facebook groups for CA unemployment can be helpful too. Lots of people sharing tips and updates there.
