EDD Payment Delays: Anyone else not received their payment? Need advice!
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my EDD payment. It's been a while since I last received one and I'm starting to get worried. Has anyone else experienced delays or problems with their payments recently? Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact? I'm really counting on this money and the uncertainty is stressing me out.

Ugh, I feel ya. EDD has been a nightmare lately. Have you tried calling them? It's like impossible to get through, but sometimes if you're lucky you might catch someone who can actually help.

•I've been trying to call for days but no luck. It's so frustrating! 😤 Any tips on the best time to call?

•Pro tip: call right when they open. Set an alarm and start dialing at 7:59 AM. Sometimes you can get through before the lines get jammed.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this? Is it legit?

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 🤦♂️

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Was desperate and figured it was worth a shot. Got through in like an hour instead of days of trying.

•Hmm, interesting. Might have to give it a try if I keep striking out on my own. Thanks for sharing!

Have you checked your EDD account online? Sometimes there are messages or requests for additional information that can hold up your payments.

I've been in the same boat, buddy. It turns out there was an identity verification issue on my account. Took forever to sort out, but once I did, the payments started coming again. Might be worth checking if that's whats holdin you up too.

•Oh man, I didn't even think about that. How did you find out about the identity verification issue?

•It showed up as a notification in my online account. If you don't see anything there, def try to get someone on the phone. They can check if there are any flags on your account.

Here's what you need to do to troubleshoot your EDD payment issues: 1. Check your EDD online account for any messages or pending tasks. 2. Verify that you've certified for benefits for all eligible weeks. 3. Make sure your personal information (address, phone, etc.) is up to date. 4. Look for any identity verification requests - this is a common holdup. 5. If you've exhausted your initial claim, check if you're eligible for an extension. 6. Try contacting EDD through multiple channels - phone, email, and even social media. 7. Consider reaching out to your local state representative's office. They sometimes can help expedite EDD issues. 8. Keep detailed records of all your attempts to contact EDD and resolve the issue. 9. If all else fails, file an appeal or formal complaint. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but you'll get through eventually. Good luck!

•Great advice! I'd add: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online interaction. It might come in handy if you need to escalate your case.

•Instructions unclear. Sacrificed my bank account instead. Still no payment. 😂

Seriously tho, the whole system is a joke. We pay into this our whole working lives and when we actually need it, it's impossible to access. Something needs to change.

•Preach! 🙌 It's like they purposely make it difficult so people just give up.

•Vote, people! This is why local elections matter. We need representatives who will actually fix this broken system.
