EDD payment issues - need help getting through to someone!
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my EDD payments and I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone else experienced problems with their payments recently? I've been trying to get through to someone on the phone but no luck so far. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain! The EDD system is such a mess right now. I've been trying to get my payments sorted for weeks. Have you tried calling early in the morning? That sometimes works for me.

•Early morning calls are hit or miss tbh. I've had better luck calling right before they close. Less people trying to get through then.

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. •Sure! You just go to their website, choose the EDD line, pay, and they start calling. When they get a real person, your phone rings. No guarantee, but it worked for me first try.

Have you checked your UI Online account? Sometimes there are messages or requests for additional info that can hold up payments. Worth double-checking before you spend hours on the phone.

Here's what worked for me after dealing with payment issues for weeks: 1. Double-check all your certifications are complete and accurate 2. Look for any pending interviews or additional info requests in your UI Online inbox 3. If you can't find any issues, try contacting your local assemblyperson's office. They can sometimes escalate EDD issues 4. Keep detailed records of all your attempts to contact EDD (dates, times, who you spoke to) 5. If all else fails, file an appeal. It's a pain, but it can get things moving Hang in there! The system is frustrating but don't give up on getting what you're owed.
