Need help reaching EDD rep for payment issues - any tips?

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my EDD payments and I really need to talk to a representative. Has anyone had any luck getting through to someone? I've been trying for days but keep getting stuck on hold or disconnected. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated!

I found a way to solve EDD payment issues and delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRNs4HfgGXk

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to reach them for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to get our money šŸ™„

Seriously! It's like they're playing hide and seek with our benefits 🤔

I know right? I've spent more time on hold than I did at my last job lol

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20? That's kinda steep just to talk to someone...

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

Can you give more details about how it works? Is it legit?

Yeah, it's legit. You just go to the website, choose the EDD line, pay, and they start calling. When they get someone, your phone rings. Simple as that.

Pro tip: Try calling right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold last week.

Have you tried reaching out to your local assembly member? They can sometimes help expedite things with EDD.

This! My assemblyman's office was super helpful. Def worth a shot.

I've been dealing with payment issues for months now. Here's what I've learned: • Be persistent. Keep calling, even if it's frustrating. • Document everything. Keep a log of your calls, who you spoke to, and what was said. • Check your UI Online account regularly for updates. • Make sure all your certifications are up to date. • If you get through, ask for a callback number in case you get disconnected. • Be polite to the reps. They're dealing with a lot too. Hang in there, OP. I know it's tough, but you'll get it sorted eventually.

Anyone else notice that the EDD website is always "undergoing maintenance" when you actually need to use it? šŸ™„

I heard they're implementing a new callback system. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Unpopular opinion: maybe if we all stopped calling constantly, it would be easier to get through šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Bruh, people are calling cuz they need money to live. Check ur privilege šŸ™„

I get that, I'm in the same boat. Just saying maybe there's a better way.

Has anyone tried the UI Mobile app? wondering if its any better than the website for getting info/updates

It's basically the same tbh. Just a smaller screen to get frustrated at lol
