Missing EDD Payment - No Explanation, Need Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my EDD payments. Has anyone else experienced problems recently? I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm missing a payment and I'm getting worried. Any advice or similar experiences would be really helpful right now.

Ugh, I feel you. EDD has been a nightmare lately. What exactly is going on with your payment? Is it just not showing up in your account or did you get some kind of notice?

It's just not showing up at all. No notice, no explanation. It's like it vanished into thin air. š«

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out there was a glitch in their system that affected a bunch of people. It took about a week, but it eventually sorted itself out. Might be worth checking if others are having the same problem right now.

Hey, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I get the skepticism, but honestly, after spending hours trying to get through, it was worth every penny. Saved me so much time and stress.

Can confirm, I used it too. Expensive yeah, but when you're desperate to sort out your benefits, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. š¤·āāļø

Have you checked your UI Online account? Sometimes there are messages or requests for additional info that can hold up payments. Worth double-checking!

This whole EDD system is a joke. š¤” I've been dealing with payment issues for MONTHS. It's like they're playing games with our lives. Anyone else feel like we're just numbers to them?

Alright, let me break this down for you. I've been through the EDD ringer and here's what I've learned: ā¢ First, double-check your UI Online account. Look for any pending tasks or messages. ā¢ If nothing there, try to recall if there have been any changes in your situation (work, address, etc.) that might affect your claim. ā¢ Sometimes, payments can be delayed due to bank holidays or system maintenance. Check the EDD website for any announcements. ā¢ If you've exhausted your regular UI benefits, there might be a gap before extensions kick in. ā¢ Keep certifying for benefits even if you're missing a payment. This keeps your claim active. ā¢ As a last resort, try contacting your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes help push things through. Remember, persistence is key with EDD. Don't give up, and document everything. Good luck!

Anyone else notice that these issues always seem to pop up around the end of the month? Makes me wonder if it's a funding cycle thing...

Have you tried reaching out on Twitter? Sometimes their social media team is more responsive than the phone lines. Worth a shot!
