EDD payment status stuck since 2/13 - What to do next?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my EDD payment status. I checked my account on 2/13 but I'm not sure what's going on. Has anyone else had issues with their payments recently? Any advice on what I should do next?

Have you tried calling EDD? Sometimes thats the only way to get a straight answer about whats going on with your account.

I've been trying to call but can never get through. It's so frustrating! 😤

Same here. I've been calling for weeks and always get the 'too busy' message. This system is a joke 🤔

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold last week!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. It actually worked for me and saved me hours of frustration.

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. EDD should do better.

I get it, but for me, it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time trying to get through on my own.

When was your last payment? Sometimes there's a delay if you're transitioning between claim years or if there's a holiday.

Check your inbox on the EDD website. They might have sent you a message about needing additional information or verification. I missed one of those and it held up my payments for weeks šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Good idea, I'll double check that. Thanks!

Here's what I've learned from dealing with EDD payment issues: • Always certify on time, even if payments are delayed • Check your EDD inbox regularly for important messages • Make sure your contact info is up to date • If you have a chance to set up direct deposit, do it - it's faster than the debit card • Keep detailed records of your certifications and payments • If you can't get through on the phone, try reaching out via social media (some people have had luck with Twitter) • Consider contacting your local state representative's office - they can sometimes help push things through Hope this helps! Hang in there, I know how stressful this can be.

This is great advice! šŸ’Æ Wish I had known all this when I first started dealing with EDD.

Contacting my state rep actually worked for me! Took about a week, but they got things moving.

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been stuck in EDD limbo for months. It's like they're playing games with our livelihoods. Anyone else feel like the system is designed to be this frustrating?

Preach! šŸ™Œ Sometimes I think they make it hard on purpose to discourage people from claiming.

Nah, I think it's just old technology and understaffing. Still sucks tho.
