This happened to me last year. Turns out they had my SSN wrong by one digit. Took forever to fix but keep pushing!
am i the only one who thinks its ridiculous we have to jump through so many hoops just to get paid for work we already did? the system is broken smh
Preach! 🙌 It's like they forget we have bills to pay too.
For real. And then they wonder why employee morale is low. Go figure 🙄
Here's what I've learned from my experience and research about payment status updates: 1. Check your online account daily. Sometimes updates appear there before you get any notifications. 2. Be patient. Processing times can vary widely depending on your claim type and current workload. 3. Make sure all your information is correct and up-to-date. Any discrepancies can cause delays. 4. If you haven't heard anything after 10 business days, try contacting them. Be prepared for long wait times. 5. Consider using a paid service like Claimyr if you're really struggling to get through on the phone. 6. Keep documenting everything. Save all communications and note down any calls or attempts to contact them. 7. Check if your state has an ombudsman or advocate office for unemployment issues. They can sometimes help push things along. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP.
anyone else notice how the system always seems to 'glitch' right when its time to pay us? 🤔 seems sus af
Nah, never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence. Their systems are just outdated af
have u tried turning it off and on again? 🤣 jk jk... but seriously, sometimes logging out and back in to ur EDD account can refresh things. worth a shot!
Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been stuck in EDD limbo for months. It's like they're playing games with our livelihoods. Anyone else feel like the system is designed to be this frustrating?
Preach! 🙌 Sometimes I think they make it hard on purpose to discourage people from claiming.

The whole system is a joke. They're probably sitting on a mountain of backlogged claims laughing at us peasants 🤡

•Chill out with the conspiracy theories, dude. The EDD is understaffed and overwhelmed, not out to get you.

Hey OP, what kind of work were you doing before filing? Sometimes certain industries or job types can trigger additional review and slow things down.
