Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. This whole system is a joke. We pay into it our whole working lives and when we need it, it's like pulling teeth to get any help. Someone needs to overhaul this entire process. 😤

Totally agree. The system wasn't designed to handle this many claims. They need to upgrade their tech and hire more staff.
Hey OP, hang in there. I know it feels hopeless, but it will get sorted eventually. In the meantime, take care of yourself. This stress can really wear you down. Remember to eat, sleep, and maybe try some meditation or something to keep your mind off it. We're all in this together. ❤️

Try contacting your local state representative. Sometimes they can help push things through faster.

unpopular opinion: maybe we should just be gratefull that we have a paid leave system at all? some countries dont even have this 🤷♀️
Grateful for a system that doesn't work? Nah, we pay into this with our taxes. We deserve better.

Just a heads up, I heard they're super backed up because of staff shortages. Might explain the delays were all experiencing.
That tracks. My friend works in a government office (not PFL) and says they're swamped everywhere.
Quick question for those who've been through this - how long did it take for your payment to come through once it was approved? Trying to plan my budget here...
For me it was about 5 business days after approval. Hang in there!

ugh this happened to me last year. turns out they were missing one stupid form and never bothered to tell me. def try calling or use that claimyr thing someone mentioned. good luck!
