Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

I finally got through last week and they told me my claim was denied because of a typo on my application. Now I have to appeal and wait even longer. I'm so done with this BS 😫

Great advice! One thing to add: if you're faxing docs, always keep the confirmation page. EDD has 'lost' my faxes before 🙄

Has anyone tried contacting their state representative for help? I've heard they can sometimes intervene if you're having issues with state agencies.
How do you even find out who your state rep is? 🤔
Just Google '[your state] find my representative' - there's usually a website where you can enter your address and it'll tell you who represents you.
