EDD application not paid after weeks - how to actually reach someone?
Has anyone else been waiting forever for their unemployment application to be processed? I filed weeks ago and still haven't received any payment. The office keeps closing before I can get through on the phone. I'm getting really worried about making ends meet. Any advice on how to actually talk to someone or speed this up?

I finally got through last week and they told me my claim was denied because of a typo on my application. Now I have to appeal and wait even longer. I'm so done with this BS 😫

Has anyone tried contacting their state representative for help? I've heard they can sometimes intervene if you're having issues with state agencies.
How do you even find out who your state rep is? 🤔
Just Google '[your state] find my representative' - there's usually a website where you can enter your address and it'll tell you who represents you.
