EDD payment still pending, no updates on account. What to do next?

Hey everyone, I'm having the same issue again with my EDD payment. It's still pending and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this lately? I've already checked my online account but there's no new updates or messages. Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel ya. EDD's been a nightmare lately. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that's the only way to get things moving.

I've been trying to call all morning but can't get through. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. Set an alarm and start dialing at 7:59 AM. It's worked for me before.

lol good luck with that. I tried for 3 days straight and nada. EDD's phone system is a joke 🤡

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? That's steep. Is it really worth it?

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. And yeah, $20 sucks, but I was desperate.

I used it too. Felt kinda weird paying to talk to EDD, but man, it beat calling 100 times a day.

Have you checked if there's any new certifications you need to complete? Sometimes that can hold up payments.

Ive been in the same boat for weeks now. its rediculous how broken the system is. hang in there OP, were all struggling together 💪

Preach! 🙌 EDD needs to get its act together. We're not asking for handouts, just what we're owed!

Here's what I've learned from dealing with EDD for months: 1. Keep certifying every two weeks, even if payments are pending. 2. Check your inbox daily for any new messages or requests. 3. If you can't get through on the phone, try contacting them through UI Online. 4. Reach out to your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes expedite things. 5. Make sure all your personal info is up to date in the system. 6. If you have any changes in income or employment, report them immediately. 7. Keep detailed records of all your attempts to contact EDD. Hope this helps! Don't give up, sometimes it just takes persistence.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely try reaching out to my assembly member.

Anyone else notice that EDD seems to have more issues right after holidays? Wonder if it's because of staff shortages or something.

Now that you mention it, yeah! My payments always seem to get delayed around holidays. Good observation!
