SDI online claim filing error - tried everything, still not working. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble filing a new claim online. Every time I try, it keeps giving me an error message. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to get it to work? I've already tried clearing my browser cache and using incognito mode, but no luck so far. It's really frustrating because I need to file this claim ASAP.

I ran into the same issue last month. It turns out the system was down for maintenance, but they didn't bother to put up a notice or anything. Typical 🙄 Maybe check their Twitter for any announcements?

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without waiting forever. There's this site called claimyr.com that has a calling tool. It dials through the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it saved me hours of frustration. •Yeah, basically. They use some kind of automated system to navigate the phone tree and then wait on hold. When a real person picks up, it calls your phone to connect you. Super simple.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with the online claim system for years: 1. Try different browsers - sometimes it's just a compatibility issue. 2. Clear your cache AND cookies, not just cache. 3. Check your internet connection - a weak signal can cause timeouts. 4. Use a desktop if possible, the mobile site is even more buggy. 5. Try early morning or late night when the system is less busy. 6. If all else fails, you might need to file by mail. You can download the form from their website. Hope this helps! This might sound weird, but try using caps lock for your name and address. For some reason, that fixed it for me last time. The system is so janky 🤦♂️
