Error submitting new claim on EDD website - any solutions?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble submitting a new claim on the website. Every time I try, I keep getting an error message. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to get it to go through? I'm getting really frustrated here.

Ugh, I feel your pain! 😫 I had the same issue last week. Have you tried clearing your browser cache? That worked for me after I banged my head against the wall for hours.

Classic government website, always breaking when you need it most 🙄 Have you tried submitting your claim late at night? Sometimes the system works better when there's less traffic.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone to help with these issues. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

Yep, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. It saved me hours of hold time.

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 😡

I get it, but for me, it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting whole days trying to get through.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: 1. Try different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) 2. Clear your cache and cookies 3. Use incognito/private browsing mode 4. Check your internet connection 5. Try during off-peak hours (early morning or late night) 6. Make sure all your info is entered correctly 7. If all else fails, call them directly (be prepared to wait) Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more info.

I swear they make these websites confusing on purpose 🤔 Anyone else think they're trying to discourage people from claiming?

100% agree. It's all part of their plan to make it as difficult as possible. Stay strong and keep trying! 💪

Nah, never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence. They're just terrible at designing user-friendly systems.

What exactly does the error message say? Might help to know the specific error you're getting.

It just says 'An error occurred while processing your request. Please try again later.' Super helpful, right? 🙄

Oof, that's frustratingly vague. Definitely try a different browser if you haven't already. And maybe screenshot the error if you can, might be helpful if you end up having to call them.
