If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Hey OP, just a heads up - sometimes they ask for info from multiple employers, especially if you had more than one job in the past 18 months. Double check all your messages to be sure!

idk if this helps, but I had a similar issue and I ended up going to my local EDD office in person. The wait was long, but I got everything sorted in one go. Might be worth a shot if you're really stuck.

This! In-person is underrated. Sometimes you gotta do it old school 👴

Hey OP, quick question - when you say 're-assign eligibility', do you mean you're trying to backdate your claim? Cuz if so, that's a whole different process and you might need to talk to a specific department for that.

0 coins

Good question! I'm not trying to backdate, just update the end date of my eligibility period. My doctor extended my disability time, so I need to reflect that in my claim.

Ah, gotcha. In that case, you'll need to submit a 'Claim Extension' form. You can usually do this online through your EDD account. Might save you some phone time!

pro tip: if u cant get thru on the main line, try calling some of the other edd numbers (like the employer line) and ask to be transferred. worked for me last month!

Anybody else notice that the DI system seems to be getting worse? I remember a few years ago it was much smoother. Budget cuts maybe?

•

Definitely! It's like they're trying to discourage people from claiming. Conspiracy theory: maybe that's the point? 🤔

Nah, I think it's just the system being overloaded. Remember how crazy it got during covid? Probably still catching up.

Hey OP, what was the exact wording on your notice? Sometimes the language they use can give clues about whats really going on with your claim.

Pro tip: if you're not sure what needs to be corrected, ask them to go over your claim with you in detail. Sometimes they can spot issues you might have missed. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions if something doesn't make sense!

Just a heads up, the disability office has been swamped lately due to all the covid-related claims. Be prepared for a potentially long wait time, even if you do get through. Bring a book or something to keep you occupied while on hold!

Or use that Claimyr thing someone mentioned above. Sounds like it could save a lot of headache.
