Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Pro tip: if you're not sure what needs to be corrected, ask them to go over your claim with you in detail. Sometimes they can spot issues you might have missed. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions if something doesn't make sense!

Ah gotcha. Part-time can be tricky. Make sure you have your exact hours worked for the past 18 months when you call. They'll need that to determine eligibility. Congrats on the new baby btw!

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling some of the other EDD numbers (like the employer line) and ask to be transferred. Sometimes works like a charm 😉
