If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I've been dealing with missing payments for MONTHS. It's a nightmare. I feel your pain, OP. Hang in there.

0 coins

Months?! That's terrible. I'm sorry you're going through that. Have you found any solutions?

0 coins

Not really. I'm just calling every week and praying. This whole system is broken af.

Here's a comprehensive breakdown of what you need to know about unemployment benefits for high-income earners: • Maximum Benefit Cap: Most states have a cap on weekly benefits, usually around $450-$550, regardless of your previous income. • Calculation Method: Benefits are typically calculated as a percentage of your average weekly wage during a base period, but this percentage decreases as income increases. • Duration: Standard benefit duration is usually 26 weeks in most states, but this can vary. • Taxes: Remember, unemployment benefits are taxable income. You may want to have taxes withheld to avoid a surprise tax bill. • Additional Programs: Some states offer extended benefits or supplemental programs during economic downturns. Check if any apply to you. • Documentation: Be prepared to provide extensive income verification. This might include W2s, pay stubs, and tax returns. • Appeals Process: If you believe your benefit amount is incorrect, you have the right to appeal. Document everything and be prepared for a potentially lengthy process. Hope this helps navigate the system! Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Quick question - do you know if severance pay affects unemployment eligibility or benefit amounts?

@profile 14 Great question! Severance can definitely impact your benefits. In many states, it can delay when you start receiving unemployment or reduce your weekly amount. Always report severance when you file!

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check your payment history online 2. Look for any notices or messages in your account 3. If nothing there, try calling first thing in the morning 4. If you can't get through, consider using a call-back service 5. As a last resort, you might need to visit an office in person Remember to document everything - dates you called, who you spoke to, etc. It might take some time, but don't give up! You're entitled to your full payment.

I had a similar issue last year. It took about a month after I submitted the late form for my payments to resume. They did backpay me for the missed payments tho, so theres hope!

A month? Ugh, that's rough. But it's good to hear they backpaid you. Fingers crossed I have the same experience. Thanks for sharing!

Have you considered hiring an advocate? They can sometimes speed up the process, although it does cost money upfront.
