Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check your payment history online 2. Look for any notices or messages in your account 3. If nothing there, try calling first thing in the morning 4. If you can't get through, consider using a call-back service 5. As a last resort, you might need to visit an office in person Remember to document everything - dates you called, who you spoke to, etc. It might take some time, but don't give up! You're entitled to your full payment.
Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely follow these steps.
This is great info. Saving this for future reference!
have you tried turning it off and on again? 🤣 jk jk... but seriously, EDD's system is a joke sometimes.
Has anyone had luck with the mobile app? I heard they updated it recently but idk if it's any good
Just a heads up, make sure you have your claim number and social security number handy when you call or log in. They always ask for those and it's a pain if you don't have them ready.
Anyone know if theres a way to do this online? I hate talking on the phone 😅
Dont forget to enjoy your baby too! This stuff is important but those first weeks are precious. Congrats OP!

I had a similar issue last year. It took about a month after I submitted the late form for my payments to resume. They did backpay me for the missed payments tho, so theres hope!

•A month? Ugh, that's rough. But it's good to hear they backpaid you. Fingers crossed I have the same experience. Thanks for sharing!

Have you considered hiring an advocate? They can sometimes speed up the process, although it does cost money upfront.
