EDD needs to resubmit paperwork for independent medical eval - what to do?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my independent medical evaluation for EDD. I called the medical office they told me to go to, and they said EDD needs to resubmit the paperwork. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I do when I call EDD about this?

This is solid advice. I'd add: keep a log of every call, including date, time, and who you spoke with. It'll save your butt if things get messy later.

I found a way to get someone on the phone fast. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Pro tip: if you can, go to an EDD office in person. Bring ALL your docs. Sometimes face-to-face gets better results than phone tag.
