EDD not acknowledging supplemental certification - what to do?
Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with EDD. I sent in my supplemental certification but they haven't acknowledged it at all. It's been a while and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on what to do next?

I found a way to solve EDD supplemental certification delay issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vAMIa6B08o

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been in the same boat before. How long has it been since you sent it in?

•It's been about 3 weeks now. I'm starting to get really anxious about it.

•3 weeks? That's rough. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

EDD is such a mess rn. I swear they're purposely making it hard for us to get our benefits. 🤬

I had a similar issue last month. Here's what worked for me: 1. Keep calling EDD every day. I know it's a pain, but persistence pays off. 2. Send a follow-up email through their online portal if you haven't already. 3. Reach out to your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes help push things through. 4. Double-check that all your info on the certification was correct. Sometimes a small error can cause delays. 5. If possible, try to upload any supporting documents to your online account. Hope this helps! Don't give up, you'll get through this. 💪

•This is great advice. I'd add that keeping a log of all your attempts to contact them can be helpful if you need to escalate the issue.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update stuff there without sending a notification.

•Yeah, I've been checking it daily. No updates there either. 😞

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but it really worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken. 🤦♂️

•I get it, but for me, it was worth it to finally get some answers and move my claim forward.

•I've been trying, but the job market in my area is tough right now. EDD is my lifeline atm.

Pro tip: Try calling right when they open in the morning. I've had better luck getting through that way.
