TWC payment delay - Monday's claim not deposited today
Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I requested payment for last week on Monday (like I always do) but nothing hit my account today. Usually it's deposited by 6am but it's already afternoon and nothing. My claim status still shows 'payment processed' but no money in my account. Is there some kind of TWC payment delay happening? Anyone else having this issue or is it just me? Getting worried since rent is due Friday and I was counting on this payment.

Same here! Nothing in my account either. Called my bank and they said no pending deposits. Been claiming for 3 months and this is the first time its late.

This happens sometimes. TWC processes payments in batches, and occasionally there are delays with the ACH system that transfers money between banks. Since your status shows 'payment processed,' the money is approved and on its way. If you have direct deposit, it should appear by tomorrow morning. If you have the TWC debit card, it might take until tomorrow afternoon. I wouldn't worry unless it's still missing by Thursday.

•this has happened to me twice before. once the $ came the next day, other time took 2 days. no explanation either time. TWC systems are garbage lol

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS AFFECTING EVERYONE??? I requested my payment yesterday (Tuesday) so now I'm worried mine will be delayed too!!! This is only my second payment request ever and I NEED this money for my car payment!!!

•Try not to panic. Tuesday requests typically get processed overnight Wednesday and deposited Thursday. Since you just requested yesterday, your timeline isn't affected yet. Keep an eye on your payment status on the TWC portal - as long as it says 'payment processed' you're in good shape. The current delay seems to be with the bank transfers, not the TWC approval process.

This is weird cause mine came through normal time today. But I have the TWC debit card, not direct deposit. Maybe just the direct deposit people affected?

After dealing with TWC for months, I've found that calling them directly is the only way to get real answers when things go wrong. When my payments were delayed last month, I used Claimyr to get through to an agent right away instead of waiting for hours. My buddy works for a credit union and he said theres sometimes payment processing delays across the whole banking system not just TWC stuff. Like sometimes a whole batch of ACH transfers gets stuck somewhere. Not saying thats what happened but could be that kind of thing?

•That's exactly right. ACH transfers (the system banks use to move money between each other) sometimes experience delays. This affects direct deposits from all sources, not just TWC. The Federal Reserve actually manages the ACH system, not TWC or individual banks. Since the OP's payment status shows as processed, it's likely an ACH delay rather than a TWC issue.

Did anyone else have to restart their work search log after getting the payment? I'm so confused by all this. My uncle told me TWC sometimes resets your work search activities when payments get delayed but that doesn't sound right???

•Your uncle is incorrect. Payment processing delays have absolutely no effect on your work search requirements. You still need to complete at least 3 work search activities each week and log them when you request payment. The systems are separate - one tracks your benefit payments, the other tracks your work search compliance. Keep doing your work search activities as normal.
