TWC payment request status not updating for Tuesday filers - stuck in pending?
I requested my payment on Tuesday like I always do, but it's Friday now and the status still shows 'pending' with no deposit to my account. This has never happened before - usually it processes within 24-48 hours. My work search activities are all logged correctly, and I haven't received any messages about issues with my claim. Is this happening to anyone else who requests on Tuesdays? I'm getting worried since rent is due next week. Should I call TWC or just wait it out?

This is actually happening to quite a few Tuesday requesters right now. TWC is experiencing some kind of processing delay with their system. Mine just updated this morning after requesting on Tuesday, so it took about 72 hours instead of the usual 24-48. I'd give it until Monday before you start panicking - their system might be catching up from the recent holiday.

If your payment request still shows pending by Monday afternoon, I'd recommend contacting TWC directly. •I checked my correspondence inbox and there's nothing new there. All previous payment requests went through fine, so I'm hoping it's just the system delay you mentioned. Will definitely call if it's not resolved by Monday though.

The EXACT same thing is happening to me!!!! I requested Tuesday morning and it's still showing pending. I have bills to pay and TWC doesn't seem to care that people NEED their money on time. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me this year. The system is BROKEN!!! 😡

•The system definitely has problems, but I've found a way to actually talk to someone at TWC when these issues come up. I was in the same situation last month and kept getting busy signals for days. I had this problem last year and it turned out they were doing a quarterly review of my claim. Have you completed 3 months of unemployment? Sometimes that triggers an automatic review before they continue payments. Just a thought, might not be your situation but worth considering.

•Yes, quarterly reviews can cause temporary delays. TWC is supposed to send a notification, but sometimes these get delayed in the system as well. If this is the case, your payment request status should update once the review is complete. The reviews are generally automatic unless they find discrepancies with your reported income or work search activities.
