TWC payment not showing online after claiming on holiday weekend - is this normal?

I requested my payment on Sunday like normal, but it's now Wednesday and I still don't see anything on my account. Usually by now I can at least see the payment amount and when it'll be processed in my account summary, but there's nothing there this time. I know Monday was a holiday (Memorial Day), but even with holidays I've always been able to see something by now. My claim isn't expired and I've been claiming every two weeks without issues for the past 3 months. Is anyone else experiencing delays with their payment information showing up online this week? Should I be worried or is TWC just backed up because of the holiday?

same thing happening to me! claimed sunday night and still nothing showing up. normally see the payment amount by tuesday even with holidays.

The TWC system is experiencing some delays this week. Since Monday was a federal holiday, processing is taking longer than usual. In my experience, you should see your payment information by tomorrow morning. If you don't see anything by Friday, then you might want to contact TWC. One thing to check - make sure you completely finished your payment request and got a confirmation number. Sometimes the system seems to let you submit but doesn't actually process it if you missed answering a question.

dont worry too much, TWC always slows down after holidays. they'll probably batch process everything tomorrow. happens every time there's a monday holiday!

Okay but has anyone checked if there was a system update or something??? I called the Tele-Serv number and it said something about updates to the system this week. What if they lost all our payment requests during the update!?? I'm freaking out because my rent is due on the 5th and I NEED this payment to clear by then. Does anyone know if we need to re-submit our payment requests??

The TWC definitely didn't lose payment requests - they have multiple backup systems. You don't need to resubmit. The automated message about system updates is related to some new features they're adding to the website, not anything that affects payment processing. Your payment may be a day later than usual because of the holiday, but it will process.

I was having the EXACT same issue! Claimed Sunday, nothing showing up for days. I finally got through to TWC this morning using Claimyr (claimyr.com) - they got me connected to an agent in about 20 minutes instead of trying for hours. The agent confirmed there was a processing delay because of the holiday weekend combined with some database maintenance they were doing. this happens EVERY holiday but ppl always freak out lol. TWC is like clockwork with delays after federal holidays. just always add 1-2 extra days to whatever your normal timeline is.

TWC's processing system runs on business days, so a Monday holiday pushes everything back. Your payment request isn't lost - it's just in a queue waiting to be processed. Also, there's an important difference between seeing the payment in your TWC account and when it actually hits your bank account or debit card. The TWC system will show the payment as processed usually 1-2 days before you actually receive the funds. Direct deposit typically takes 2-3 business days after processing, while the TWC debit card is usually 1-2 business days.
