TWC payment delay after Tuesday request - normally paid Thursdays but nothing showing up
I submitted my payment request through the TWC portal on Tuesday like I always do, and normally by Thursday morning my account shows the payment is processed and I receive the direct deposit later today. It's already afternoon and there's still nothing showing in my payment status. The portal just says 'payment request received' but doesn't show any deposit date or amount like it usually does by now. Anyone else experiencing delays with their unemployment payments this week? I've got bills due tomorrow and I'm starting to worry.

same here! requested tuesday and always get paid thurs but nothings in my account yet. checked the twc website like 5 times today and still says processing. never had this issue before in 3 months of claims

This happens sometimes. There can be delays in TWC processing payment requests, especially at the beginning of calendar quarters when their system gets overloaded. If your payment request was accepted (shows status as received), you should still get paid, but it might be a day or two late. As long as you don't have any pending issues on your claim, I wouldn't worry just yet. Check again tomorrow morning - if it still doesn't show as processed by then, that's when I'd start trying to contact TWC.

It's probably because it's the first week of a new quarter. The TWC system always gets backed up during these transition periods. I went through the same thing in January - payment was 2 days late but eventually showed up. Just keep checking your account status and it should update soon.

SAME PROBLEM HERE!!! This is making me so mad. Been filing since December and NEVER had a late payment until now. Called TWC this morning and of course couldn't get through AT ALL. Just busy signals or the automated system hanging up on me. Don't they realize people have BILLS TO PAY??? How can they just randomly delay payments without any notice????

•I know it's frustrating, but I've learned after dealing with TWC for months that sometimes these things happen. The payment system isn't perfect, especially when they're processing thousands of claims at once. Have you tried checking your correspondence inbox on the TWC portal? Sometimes they'll post messages there about system delays.

I had this issue last month. My payment was delayed because it turned out I had a pending issue on my claim that I didn't know about. They never notified me. When I finally got through to a TWC agent, they resolved it in minutes and my payment was processed the next day. I'd recommend using Claimyr to get through to an agent - it's the only way I could get past the busy signals. •Yes, it worked for me. Instead of spending days trying to get through, I got connected to a TWC rep in about 20 minutes. They were able to tell me exactly why my payment was delayed and fixed the issue right away. Much better than constantly hitting redial and getting nowhere.

this happened to me like 2 months ago... payment was late but showed up the next monday instead of thursday... something about a "system update" according to the lady i talked to... not helpful when rent was due friday tho lol

Just to update everyone - I checked the TWC website and they've posted a system notice about payment processing delays affecting some claims filed this week. They're saying all payments should be processed by tomorrow (Friday) and deposited by Monday at the latest. So it looks like this is a known system issue affecting multiple people.

It's on the news banner that sometimes appears at the top of the dashboard after you log in. Not everyone sees it depending on your claim type. If you don't see it, try logging out and back in, or check the 'Announcements' section under the Resources tab.

•Found it! Had to click on "more announcements" to see it. Says there's a "temporary processing delay" and payments should resume normal schedule next week. At least now we know what's going on.

UPDATE: My payment finally showed up in the system this morning! Status changed from "payment request received" to "payment processed" with today's date. The portal says direct deposit should hit my account by Monday. A bit late but at least it's coming. Hope everyone else sees their payments updated too!
