PA UC dashboard showing 'page not available' error code when trying to file weekly claims
Is anyone else struggling to file their weekly claims on the PA UC website? For the past two days, every time I try to log in to file my weekly certification, I keep getting a 'page not available' message with some kind of error code. I've tried different browsers (Chrome and Edge), cleared my cache, and even tried on my phone but nothing works. My bills are due next week and I'm starting to panic! Has the system crashed or is it just me having this problem?

The PA UC system was down for scheduled maintenance yesterday from 6pm-11pm. They mentioned it on their Facebook page but nowhere else that I saw. What error code are you getting exactly? Some codes mean different things - like if it starts with 500 it's their server, but if it's a 400-something it could be something on your end.

•It's a 503 error code. I didn't know about any maintenance! Why wouldn't they send an email or text? This is so frustrating.

I'm seeing this issue reported by several claimants this week. The 503 error indicates their servers are overloaded or temporarily down. A few things to try: 1. Try logging in during off-peak hours (early morning 6-7am or late evening after 9pm) 2. Make sure you're using the direct link: www.paclaims.pa.gov/ucen/ 3. If you're using a VPN, disable it as the system sometimes blocks those connections 4. Try clearing your browser cookies specifically for the PA website If none of those work, you can still file by phone using the PAT system at 888-255-4728, but be prepared for long wait times.

THE UC WEBSITE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I swear they make it crash on purpose so people get frustrated and give up claiming! I had this happen to me TWICE in January and almost missed my filing window. Ended up having to call and was on hold for 2.5 HOURS before talking to a human. The whole system is designed to fail!!

I had the same issue last week but it was because I needed to verify my identity with ID.me again for some reason. Check your email - they might have sent you something about verification that got filtered to spam. The error message doesn't tell you that's the problem, it just shows the generic 'page not available' message.

If you need to reach someone at PA UC to fix this, I found a service called Claimyr that helped me get through when I had a similar issue with the website. You can check them out at claimyr.com - they basically call PA UC for you and then connect you when they get through. Saved me from the constant busy signals. •Yeah, it actually does. I was skeptical too but was desperate after trying for 3 days to get through. They don't access your claim or anything - they just connect the call when they get through to UC.

Just a heads up for everyone - PA UC just posted on their Twitter account that they're experiencing technical difficulties with the weekly certification system. They expect it to be resolved by tomorrow morning. They've also extended the filing deadline for this week by 2 days, so you won't be penalized if you file late due to this issue.
