PA UC website throwing 'page not found' errors today - can't access my claim!

Is anyone else getting 'page not found' errors on the PA unemployment website today? I've been trying to log in for the past 3 hours to file my weekly claim and keep hitting a brick wall. Tried on Chrome, Firefox, even my phone - nothing works! The site loads the initial login page but as soon as I enter my SSN and PIN, it crashes to a page not found error. My biweekly filing is due tomorrow and I'm seriously panicking here. Anyone know if the system is down or have a workaround?

Ugh, so frustrating! Have you tried filing by phone instead? I'm wondering if that's still working.

ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING WITH THEM!!!! This happens at least once every other month - system "maintenance" that they NEVER warn us about. My husband missed filing last month because of this exact garbage and they made him reopen his entire claim which took 3 WEEKS to process while bills piled up. The PA UC system is DESIGNED to make ppl give up!!!

Actually, they do post system maintenance notices on the login page. There's scheduled maintenance tonight from 10pm-2am, but what OP is experiencing sounds different since it's happening now during regular hours.

I was just able to get in a few minutes ago after experiencing the same error all morning. Try clearing your cache and cookies completely, then restart your browser. That worked for me. Also make sure you're going directly to www.uc.pa.gov and not through a bookmark or Google link that might be outdated.

Thanks! I'll try clearing my cache right now. Did you have to do anything else special to get in?

One other thing to check - make sure your browser is up to date. Last month they added some security features that don't work with older browser versions. I've found Edge works better than Chrome with their site lately.

Just tried your suggestion about clearing cache and it worked! I'm in now. Thank you so much! Filing my weekly claim right away before something else breaks.

Had the same problem but figured out what's happening. The PA UC site is redirecting to a new URL structure but their links aren't all updated. When you go to benefits.uc.pa.gov instead of the old www.uc.pa.gov address, everything works fine. They're migrating systems but didn't update all their redirects properly. Classic PA UC...

Thank you! This worked for me too. Why can't they just send an email when they make changes like this?

I was having the same issue for DAYS! After trying everything (clearing cache, different browsers, etc) I finally was able to reach someone at UC using Claimyr (claimyr.com). They connect you directly to a UC agent - you can see how it works in their video demo: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2. The agent told me they're having widespread login issues with certain account types and had to reset something on my account from their end. Now it works fine! Without this service I would've missed my filing deadline.

Thanks for sharing this. If the cache clearing stops working I might need this. Did the agent give any timeline on when the site issues will be fully fixed?

anyone notice that we cant use the site during tax season too? happens every year right when everyone needs their 1099s

YES!!! It's like they deliberately make it harder during peak times! My theory is they're hoping people give up so they save money.

For anyone still having trouble: Per the PA UC Twitter account (@PaUCSupport), they're experiencing some technical difficulties with the login system today. They recommend using the UC Connect mobile app as an alternative method for filing weekly claims until the website issues are resolved. The estimated fix time is 5pm today.

Update: I got in using the cache clearing suggestion, but now I'm getting errors when submitting my weekly certification. Going to try the UC Connect app as suggested. Thanks everyone for your help!
