PA UC website down for maintenance - can't file weekly claim today
Is anyone else having trouble filing their weekly claim right now? The PA UC website keeps showing a maintenance notice when I try to login. Of course this happens on my filing day! I've tried 3 different browsers and even my phone. Anyone know how long this maintenance usually lasts? Will I get penalized if I can't file today because their system is down?

The website schedule shows maintenance was planned for today from 6 AM to 2 PM. It should be back up this afternoon. You won't be penalized as long as you file by midnight tomorrow - they always give a grace period for system maintenance days. Just make sure you complete your filing tomorrow to stay within your bi-weekly window.

This happens every few months when they update their systems. The scheduled maintenance information is actually posted on the login page, but it's easy to miss because it's in small text at the bottom. Just to confirm what the previous person said - you have until midnight on the day AFTER your regular filing day to submit without issues. I've had to do this several times, never had a problem with delayed payments.

•THEY ALWays do maintenance on filing days on PURPOSE!!! happened to me 2x last year already. bet they do it so people miss filing deadlines and they save $$$

When I couldn't get through on the website during maintenance last month, I called the PAT (PA Teleclaims) number at 888-255-4728 and was able to file by phone. Just have your SSN and PIN ready. That said, I spent almost 2 hours trying to get through because everyone else had the same idea. If you can wait until tomorrow online, that's probably easier.

•If you need to speak with a live agent about anything (not just filing), I had great luck using Claimyr (claimyr.com) last week when I kept getting busy signals. •The PAT phone system should still be working during website maintenance, but as someone else mentioned, the call volume is going to be very high with the website down. You might be on hold for a long time.
