If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Has anyone else noticed the system running slower lately? Been taking longer for payments to process the last few weeks. Mine used to hit wednesday mornings now not til afternoon.

It might come Thursday. Monday night certifications often hit my account Thursday morning instead of Wednesday. Their system is finicky like that. Set ur expectations for Thursday just to be safe.

The most frustrating part is you cant even check on the status. I tried calling NY unemployment and they said it's an IRS issue. Called IRS and they said they can't give status on individual adjustments. It's like they designed this system to be as annoying as possible 🙄

I had the same experience but finally got someone helpful after using claimyr.com to get through. They connected me with an agent who actually looked up my file and confirmed it was in process.

Got an ID.me email requesting video verification with a "Trusted Referee" for unemployment, but it mentions IRS - scam or legitimate?

I've been collecting unemployment since April and everything was fine, but today at 8:52 AM I received this strange email from ID.me saying I need to complete ID.me identity verification with a 'Trusted Referee' through video chat. The email has the subject line "Complete Your ID.me Identity Verification with a Trusted Referee" and it's really concerning me. The email says "We noticed you didn't complete your identity verification with ID.me. ID.me offers the ability to have a video chat with a Trusted Referee to help verify your identity. Once you are assigned a Trusted Referee, the video chat will take less than 10 minutes." What's weird is that the email mentions the Internal Revenue Service but I never started anything with them. It specifically says "If you would prefer to continue with the previous method you initiated at The Internal Revenue Service, please return to the The Internal Revenue Service site to continue your identity verification with ID.me." But I've never done anything with the IRS related to my unemployment! The email has a button labeled "Verify through a Trusted Referee" and includes this link: https://referee.id.me/en/supervised/attempts/b72ca408363446f0a2cffb253e7e1798/edit I'm really confused because my benefits have been coming in normally for like 9 months now without any issues. Why would I suddenly need to verify my identity through a video chat with someone? I'm worried this might be some kind of identity theft attempt but also don't want to lose my benefits if it's legit. The email is signed by "The ID.me Member Support Team" which seems official, but I still don't understand why they're referencing the IRS when I'm just collecting unemployment. Has anyone else gotten something like this? What should I do? Should I click that link and go through with the video verification or ignore it?

Whyyyy is the unemployment system such a dumpster fire?? I swear its designed to be confusing on purpose so people give up on getting their benefits. 😤

if this is from a T-Mobile connection as it shows at the top, be aware there's been phishing scams specifically targeting T-Mobile users lately too.

Had the EXACT same problem back in February. Turns out my ID.me verification actually failed but the system never told me. When I finally got through to a person, they were able to see exactly what was wrong and help me fix it. Don't waste weeks waiting - find a way to talk to a human!

OMG I'm so tired of hearing about ID.me problems!!! Its literally on every unemployment forum. They need to fix this garbage system or go back to the old way. Too many people are suffering because of their crappy technology 😡

NY unemployment on hold - Can't access ID.me with "Authenticator" from 2021, keeps asking for security key I don't have

I'm losing my mind over this ID.me verification process for ny unemployment. Been trying for the past 2 weeks to complete my verification but it's driving me insane. Every time I log in, the system keeps asking me for some kind of security key card that I never set up in the first place! I tried calling the support line multiple times but I can never get through to a real person. Just automated messages telling me to check their website. Went to their website and the help articles are useless - they assume you already have everything set up. When I log into my account.id.me, I see several options for verification methods: - Code Generator: "Add" - Says it will "Generate verification codes via code generator apps like ID.me Authenticator to sign in." - Authenticator: "Added Jul 27, 2021" with a "Rename" option (but I don't remember setting this up back in 2021 and have no idea how to access it now) - FIDO Security Key: "Set Up" - Describes it as "A Security Key is a small physical device used for signing in." - NFC-Enabled Mobile Security Key: "Set Up" - Says "Enroll a YubiKey security key for secure mobile authentication. ID.me Authenticator app download required." At the bottom there's just some generic text saying "ID.me simplifies how individuals prove and share their identity online." Yeah right! Nothing simple about this at all. I'm completely stuck because the only option that shows as "Added" is this "Authenticator" from July 27, 2021, but I have absolutely no clue what this is or how to use it. Do I need to download some special ID.me app? Is this something I had on an old phone? Anyone else dealt with this nightmare? My benefits are on hold until I can verify my identity and my rent is due next week. I'm seriously stressing out here.

someone probably already said this but have you tried resetting your 2FA completely? go to account settings and look for security options, there should be a way to remove all verification methods and start over

pro tip: the id.me help chat is actually better than calling. go to id.me website (not through unemployment) and look for the chat option. still took me 30 mins in queue but they fixed my security key issue without video verification

Thanks for the tip! I'll try this tomorrow morning. Did you need to have any specific information handy when you chatted with them?

just your id.me login email and they'll ask for some verification info during the chat. have your ID ready just in case
