Not so fun fact: ny unemployment intentionally makes these processes difficult and gives agents limited training on complex cases. it's literally designed to make people give up on benefits they're entitled to. the worse their numbers look, the better it is for politicians who want to say they're "combating fraud" or "reducing dependency." FIGHT FOR YOUR MONEY!
