DETR silent for 2+ months after filing claim, can't certify. What to do?
I filed my unemployment claim over two months ago and still haven't heard anything back. It's been radio silence - no letters, no updates, nothing. To make matters worse, I can't even certify for weeks anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do? I'm at my wits' end here.

Listen up, I've been through this rodeo before. Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. 2. Email AND call. Be persistent but polite. 3. Reach out to your local state representative. Sometimes they can light a fire under DETR. 4. Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important emails end up there. 5. If you can, try to visit an office in person. It's a pain, but face-to-face can work wonders. Don't give up. The system is overwhelmed, but you'll get through eventually. Hang in there!

guys i found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. heres a video about it: https://youtu.be/joPqgg0bRFw
