DEO: 6+ months, no funds issued despite escalation. What now?
I filed a claim for unemployment benefits back in May and still haven't received any funds. All my weeks are claimed but nothing has been issued. I've already requested for my case to be escalated to a higher process because of this. It's been over 6 months now and I've seen no updates. Has anyone else experienced this? What else can I do?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Filed in April and still nothing. The system is so broken 😡

•Have you tried calling? Sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

•Calling is a nightmare. I've spent hours on hold only to get disconnected 🤬

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/AsdxiF0IH1k

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•How long did you have to wait for the callback?

•Not long at all. Maybe 30 minutes? Way better than being stuck on hold all day.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your claims, communications, and attempts to resolve the issue. 2. Contact your local state representative or senator. They often have staff dedicated to helping constituents with unemployment issues. 3. File a complaint with the Department of Labor. They oversee state unemployment agencies. 4. Consider reaching out to local media. Sometimes public pressure can speed things up. 5. If all else fails, consult with an employment lawyer. Some offer free consultations. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but persistence usually pays off.

I had a similar issue. Turns out there was a glitch in their system that was holding up my claim. Keep calling and eventually you'll get someone who can actually help.

•How long did it take you to finally get it resolved?

•It took about 3 months of persistent calling. It was a nightmare, but I finally got my backpay.

This is why we need to vote for better leadership. The current administration clearly doesn't care about working people. 🤡

•Let's not make this political. The system has been broken for years, regardless of who's in charge.

•Everything is political when it comes to government services. Wake up! 🙄
