CDLE claim filed 2 months ago - no payments or updates. Help!
I filed my unemployment claim 2 months ago and still haven't received any payments or updates. I've tried calling but nobody answers. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's been 3 months for me and still radio silence. The system is so broken 🤬

•3 months?! That's insane. Have you tried reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things along.

•No, I haven't thought of that. Good idea, I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

•I tried contacting my rep and they just sent me back to the unemployment office 🙄 It's like a never-ending circle

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update info there without sending notifications.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/W4S1W6V2hOQ

•Sounds sketchy. Is it legit?

•Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

•How long did you have to wait for the call back?

•It took about 2 hours for me, but I've heard it can vary. Still better than being stuck on hold yourself!

Here's what worked for me: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. 2. Check your online account daily for updates. 3. Try calling right when they open - sometimes you have better luck. 4. If all else fails, contact your state representative or senator. 5. Consider filing a complaint with the Department of Labor if it's been an unreasonable amount of time. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed but persistence usually pays off eventually.

This is why we need to overhaul the entire unemployment system. It's a joke that people have to wait months to get the help they need. 😤

•Preach! 🙌 The whole thing is held together with duct tape and prayers at this point

Have you checked if theres any missing information or errors on your claim? Sometimes small mistakes can hold up the whole process.
