EDD claim from March still 'Pending Processing' - no payment received. Help!
I filed an unemployment claim back in March and still haven't received any payment. It's been over two months now! The status just says 'Pending Processing'. I've tried calling the EDD office multiple times but can't get through to anyone. Has anyone else experienced such a long delay? Any advice on how to speed up the process or at least get some information about when I might expect to receive benefits?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Filed in early April and still nothing. The system is so broken 😡 I've been calling every day but it's always busy. Starting to feel hopeless...

•Hang in there! I know it sucks, but eventually they'll get to your claim. Took me almost 3 months to get my first payment 😓

•3 months?! That's insane. How are people supposed to survive that long without income? The EDD needs to get their act together 🤬

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

•Yeah, I was skeptical at first too, but I can confirm it worked for me. Got through to an agent in about 2 hours. Worth every penny tbh

•How does it actually work? Do they just keep redialing or something?

•From what I understand, they use some kind of automated system to navigate the phone menu and wait on hold. When a real person picks up, it connects to your phone. Pretty clever actually!

Here's what worked for me: 1. Email your local assemblymember or state senator. They often have staff dedicated to helping with EDD issues. 2. Be persistent with calling. Try early morning or late afternoon. 3. Check your UI Online account for any pending tasks or required documents. 4. If you have a complex claim (like mixed W2/1099 income), you might need to speak with a tier 2 specialist. 5. Make sure all your info is up to date and accurate. Hope this helps! Don't give up, you'll get through eventually.

•Thank you so much for the detailed advice! I'll definitely try contacting my assemblymember. Didn't even think of that.

•This is great info! 👍 Wish I had known all this when I first filed. Took me forever to figure out the tier 2 specialist thing.

I'm telling you, the whole system is rigged. They make it impossible on purpose so people just give up. Wake up sheeple! 🐑🐑🐑

•Oh please, take off the tinfoil hat. It's just bureaucratic incompetence, not some grand conspiracy 🙄

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling the employer line and then asking to be transferred to claimant services. Worked for me!

Anyone else notice that the EDD website is always "down for maintenance" when you actually need to use it? 🤔 Sus af if you ask me

Guys, I just got through after weeks of trying! Here's what I did: 1. Called right at 8:01 AM 2. Used the 2511 number 3. Pressed 1, then 2, then 4 Got put on hold for about 30 mins, but finally talked to someone who could help. Don't give up!
