Each bank has different processing times. Credit Karma tends to be really fast (sometimes even 1-2 days before the official DDD), while traditional banks like Chase or BoA can hold it for 1-2 days after the DDD. Nothing to worry about!

I have Chase too and they're definitely slower than Credit Karma. My wife and I filed the same day, she got hers 2 days before me cuz she uses Credit Karma.

Yeah i looked but theres all these codes and dates that make no sense to me. It says 570 and 971 which apparently means theres some kind of hold? But i dont know why

Those codes usually mean there's a review or adjustment happening. 570 is a refund hold and 971 means they sent you a notice explaining why. Check your mail carefully the next few days. Or you could try calling them, but good luck getting through...

DDD = Direct Deposit Date. It's when the IRS is scheduled to send your refund to your bank.
