Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. ā¢They should automatically add it to your refund. Check your transcript - there should be an interest payment code if you qualified.

Quick tip for everyone still waiting - if you get your tax transcript, look for Code 846 with a date. That's your refund date! It's been accurate for me 3 years in a row.

DD dates are more like suggestions than actual commitments š Just keep checking your account daily. In my experience Chase has been slower than other banks with IRS deposits. My husband got his through our credit union 2 days before I got mine through Chase, even though we filed together and had the same DD date.

I was literally in your exact situation a few weeks ago. Had to call the IRS but could never get through on their normal number. ā¢It's real. You still talk directly to the IRS agent yourself - they just handle getting through the phone system. I used it twice now and both times I got through when I couldn't on my own. Beats sitting on hold for 3 hours or getting busy signals for days.
