PFL claim stuck - no new forms for rest of claim amount. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my Paid Family Leave claim. I got some money initially, but now I haven't received any new forms to fill out for the rest of my claim amount. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do next? I'm getting worried because I really need this money.

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's so frustrating! Have you tried calling them? I've been trying for weeks and can't get through.

I've tried calling but keep getting a busy signal or disconnected. It's driving me crazy!

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed 🤞

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I'm skeptical. Why should we have to pay to talk to a government agency? 🤔

I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imho.

Can you give more details about how it works? Do they guarantee you'll get through?

They don't guarantee it, but they give you another call for free if it doesn't work. Basically, their system navigates the phone tree and waits on hold so you don't have to. When an agent picks up, they call you.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they upload new forms there without sending a notification.

This happened to me last year. Turns out they had the wrong address on file and were sending forms to my old place. Double-check all your contact info is up to date!

Oh man, I didn't even think of that. I'll definitely check. Thanks for the suggestion!

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account first. Make sure all your info is up to date. 2. If nothing's there, try to contact them through every method possible - phone, email, and even snail mail. 3. Document EVERYTHING. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. 4. If you still can't get through, reach out to your local state representative. They often have contacts in these departments and can help push things along. 5. As a last resort, consider filing a formal complaint. Sometimes this can get things moving. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but you'll get your money eventually.

This is solid advice. I'd add that joining local Facebook groups for PFL claimants can be helpful too. Sometimes you can get insider tips.

Contacting my state rep was what finally worked for me. Good suggestion!

Has anyone tried faxing their documents? I know it sounds old school, but I've heard it can be faster than mail or email sometimes.

Omg yes! Faxing worked for me when nothing else did. It's like they're stuck in the 90s or something 🤣

Guys, I think there might be a glitch in their system. I've heard from multiple people that claims filed in the last month are getting stuck. Might be worth mentioning if you get through to someone.
