PFL claim vanished - no updates, what to do?
Has anyone else had issues with their Paid Family Leave claim? I submitted mine a while back and it seems to have disappeared into thin air. I was told I'd get an update but nothing has come through. Starting to get worried about how I'll manage without this support. Any advice on how to follow up or what to do next?

Not sure if this helps, but I had success emailing them at pfl@edd.ca.gov. It took about a week to get a response, but they were actually helpful when they did reply. Might be worth a try while you're waiting to get through on the phone.

I went through something similar last month and it was incredibly stressful. What finally worked for me was a combination approach - I called early morning (around 8:05 AM), sent that email to pfl@edd.ca.gov that Amina mentioned, AND also submitted a complaint through the EDD website. The complaint seemed to trigger some kind of review because I got a call back within 3 days. Also, make sure you have your Social Security number, claim confirmation number (if you have one), and the exact dates you submitted everything ready when you do get through. The wait times are brutal but don't lose hope - you will get this sorted out!
