PFL Claim Submitted - No Response, Can't Reach Anyone on Phone. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my Paid Family Leave claim. I submitted all my documents a while back, but I haven't heard anything since. I tried calling the office, but when I finally got through, there was no one on the line! Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to get in touch with a real person? I'm starting to get worried about my claim status.

Ugh, welcome to the club! šŸ™„ I've been dealing with this nonsense for weeks. It's like they're purposely making it impossible to reach anyone. Have you tried calling right when they open? Sometimes that works for me.

I second this! Early morning calls are the way to go. Set ur alarm for 7:55 AM and start dialing at 8 on the dot.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 😔

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. After weeks of trying, I finally got through. Worth every penny imho.

Can you explain more about how it works? Do they guarantee you'll get through?

Basically, their system calls and navigates the phone tree for you. It waits on hold until a real person answers, then it calls your phone. No guarantee, but it worked for me!

Here's what I've learned after dealing with PFL for months: • Be persistent! Call multiple times a day if you have to. • Keep a log of all your calls, including date, time, and any info you receive. • Check your online account regularly for updates. • If possible, fax your documents in addition to mailing them. • Consider reaching out to your local state representative for help. • Join Facebook groups dedicated to PFL issues - sometimes they have insider tips. Hang in there, OP. The system is frustrating, but don't give up!

This is gold šŸ’Æ Wish I had known all this when I started my claim!

I'm in the same boat, OP. Been waiting on my claim for 2 months now. It's ridiculous how hard they make it to get any info. Sending good vibes your way! šŸ™

Thanks for the support! Hope your claim gets processed soon too. This waiting game is the worst.

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling one of their auxiliary offices. Sometimes they can help or at least transfer you to the right person. I'll DM you the number I used.

Yo can you send me that number too? I've been trying to get through for days 😩

Sure thing, just sent it over. Good luck!

Anyone else think its crazy we gotta jump through all these hoops just to access a benefit we're entitled to? The whole systems a joke if u ask me 🤔

Preach! šŸ™Œ It's like they're hoping we'll just give up and go away.

Fr fr. We need to organize and demand better service. This is unacceptable.

Hey OP, what documents did you submit? Make sure you didn't miss anything important. I thought I had everything in order but turns out I was missing a form and that's why my claim was held up.
