PFL claim stuck in pending status - need help ASAP!
Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my PFL claim. It's been stuck in pending status for a while now and I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm starting to get worried because I really need this money. Any advice on how to speed up the process or what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain! My PFL claim was stuck in pending for like 3 weeks. It's so frustrating when you're counting on that money. Have you tried calling them? That's what finally worked for me.

•I've been trying to call but can never get through. How long did you have to wait on hold?

•Honestly, it took FOREVER. I was on hold for like 2 hours before I finally got someone. But it was worth it cuz they were able to push my claim through.

•2 hours? You got lucky! I've been trying for days and can't even get put on hold. This system is so broken 😡

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there are notices or requests for additional info that you might have missed. That could be whats holding things up.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•Can you give more details about how it works? Do they just keep calling until they get through?

•Yeah, basically. They have some kind of system that navigates the phone menu and waits on hold. When a real person picks up, it calls your phone. Super simple.

Here's what you need to do to get your PFL claim unstuck: 1. Double-check your online account for any pending tasks or document requests. 2. If nothing there, call the PFL office ASAP. Be prepared to wait on hold for a long time. 3. When you get through, ask specifically what's causing the delay and what you can do to resolve it. 4. If they say they need more info, ask for an email address to send it to and follow up immediately. 5. Keep a log of all your calls and interactions. 6. If you still can't get through, consider contacting your local state representative's office. They can sometimes help push things along. 7. As a last resort, file a complaint with the state labor board. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up!

I'm in the same boat. Been waiting for 6 weeks now. This whole system is a joke. They expect us to live on air while they take their sweet time?

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling right when they open or just before they close. Sometimes you have better luck then.
