PFL claim status check and end date change - how to actually get through?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to check on some PFL claims I submitted recently. Has anyone had luck getting through to check claim status? I also need to make a small change to one of my claim end dates. Any tips on how to get this sorted out quickly?

Ugh, good luck with that. I've been trying to get through for weeks. The phone lines are always busy and the website is useless. It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits 🙄

•Same here! I've been calling non-stop for days. It's so frustrating 😤

•Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

•Tried that, no luck. It's like playing the lottery at this point 🎰

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

•20 bucks tho? That's kinda steep just to talk to someone...

•I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, ya know? 🤷♂️

Here's what I've learned about checking PFL claims and making changes: 1. Online portal: Sometimes you can see status updates here, but it's often delayed. 2. Phone: Best bet, but be prepared to wait. 3. Fax: Yes, seriously. You can fax in change requests. 4. Mail: Slow, but an option for non-urgent changes. 5. Local office: If you're near one, going in person can work. For changing end dates, you usually need to submit a form. Call and ask for the right form number. Good luck!

•Wow, thanks for the detailed info! I'll give the phone another shot and ask about that form.

I'm in the same boat, OP. The whole system is a mess. I've been waiting on a claim for months now. It's ridiculous how hard they make it to get what we're entitled to.

•Preach! 🙌 It's like they're hoping we'll just give up

Pro tip: keep detailed records of all your calls, emails, and submissions. It's saved my butt more than once when dealing with PFL claims. Also, don't be afraid to escalate to a supervisor if you're not getting anywhere with the first person you talk to.

•That's great advice, thanks! I'll start keeping a log of everything.

Anyone else notice that the PFL system seems to be extra glitchy lately? I swear it's gotten worse since that "upgrade" they did last month 🙄
